Comment terms

Updated October 23, 2026.

By submitting a comment, you agree that HeyItsEdgar may display your comment and chosen display name publicly on this site. You keep ownership of your words.

Keep it human

Disagreement is welcome. Spam, threats, harassment, impersonation, and sharing someone’s private information are not. Don’t post anything you don’t have permission to share, including private details about yourself that you don’t want made public.

Before your comment appears

Comments wait for approval. Edgar may decline or hide comments that break these rules or don’t fit the conversation. Display names are guest names, not verified accounts, and are not reserved.

What gets stored

We store the display name, comment, page, submission time, moderation status, and the version of these terms you agreed to. A one-way daily network hash helps limit spam; the commenting feature does not store your raw IP address. Hosting infrastructure may process request information as part of running the website.

If you choose “Remember my display name,” that name is stored in your browser on this device. You can remove it by clearing this site’s browser data. It is not a login.

To ask about a comment or request its removal, contact heyyy.its.edgars.email@gmail.com. Please include the page and display name so I can find it.
