About this sketch
A person calls 911 during a robbery and discovers that getting useful help from the dispatcher is its own problem. This sketch takes the urgency of an emergency call and turns it into a fictional customer-service nightmare.
Originally published as Edgar Is A Joke, it is part of the channel’s early comedy archive. The full performance follows the mismatch between the caller’s situation and the response on the other end of the line.
